In spite of current economic circumstances, the international image of Barbados is impressive. --

Speaking on “Reflections of a Returned National: Barbados in the 21st Century”, Dr. Brathwaite acknowledged that after visiting 50 countries and having lived for more than one year in seven of them, he knows of nowhere where 280 000 people have progressed as Barbados has in the last 44 years.

I'd say tourists, and visitors certainly play a big part in all that too! Thumbs up! :-)
