Looking for something to do this Saturday, 1 April (no joke).

The 3rd Annual Barbados Chocolate and Culinary Festival is staking place this Saturday at Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre on Two Mile Hill, St. Michael from 11am to 7pm.

lots of vendors on show.. lots of yummy chocolate to sample and purchase.. Cheesecakes and pastry's as well.

TICKETS are Available at: CS PHARMACY, Bridgetown | A&B SOUNDZ, Sheraton Mall | ONLINE at BarbadosChocolateFestival.com. Adults: $20 / Kids Age 5-11: $10 / Age 4 and Under: Free. But barbados doesnt grow cocoa commercially ?

no, we don't.. but.. we do have some really great chocolate makers (Agapey) and Chocolatiers.. and pastry chefs and a fabulous culinary scene.. so.. there you go..

in fact.. there are people that have Cocoa growing in their back yards and have no idea what to do with it.. ha..

Ok, well i think there are some videos on how to make cocoa but its true that the pods themselves can be quite pretty.

Consider this - everything you like to drink is fermented to make its flavour - apart from fruit juice, tea coffee cocoa beer wine booze - its all fermented...
