Hi everyone,

Are there any aerobics classes in the St Peter area that I can attend on a pay as you go basis whilst I am in Barbados. Would be glad to receive any websites, numbers etc that I can look at or view time tables or even call and set something up.

Also are there any swimming, football or karate classes in the area that my children can attend. I would like for them to socialise more.

OK Alexandra School in Speightstown

They run Karate on (I think) Tuesday and Friday.

I also recently saw some adverts for some guy who was teaching fitness classes there too on various nights.

There is someone who teaches football on the green next to the bus station, I believe it is on Monday evenings. Not sure if these things are term time activities only tho.

Swimming classes are also held at the beach at Port St Charles on Saturday morning. 7am ish I think.

There are a couple being taught. Ruth Wilkie is one instructor, but honestly can't remember where and when. but I have connections and will get the info for you..

if anybody is interested the Ministry of Health (MoH) are running free aerobics classes 3 times a week in St Michael, I can get details if anybody wants them. Some of my friends who go say they are excellent!

no they are not water aerobics, and i think you have to take your own exercise mat but i will ask the poeplpe here at work who attend for all the details!!

ok, i asked for details....

its upstairs at Sir Winston Scott polyclininc in St Michael........from 16:45 ish to 18:00 mon wed and fri....Dr Cumberbatch will measure height and weight and they do monthly weigh ins.....

water aerobics.. Ruth Wilkie is the instructor.. now.. I think much of what she does is for older people with "issues" if you understand.. they have had knee problems or issues like that.. soo.. but she I think if you are interested try her out and see what it's all about. (knowing Ruth, she wouldn't cut them any slack anyway.. soo. go for it)

Monday 5p.m at Rostervor Hotel in the Gap , Tuesday and Thursday evening 5 p.m South Gap Hotel in the Gap and Wed and Friday morning 9:30 at Pablo Dontes Maxwell.
