Advice reqd - investing in Barbados
I'm new to the forum and am an expat living in Canada.
I'm looking to invest in some real estate down in Barbados with a view to vacationing & eventually retiring down there.
I just got back from an 11 day trip and had a great time on the island but did notice that the real estate market was absolutely flooded with property.
Any advice you can give me on the market and economic conditions in Barbados going forward would be appreciated. Has Barbados been detrimentally affected by the emergence of Bermuda as a 'preferred' location for certain tax structures?
