So excited to be coming back "Home"

Re: So excited to be coming back "Home"
Having been an accidental landlord for about 6 disastrous years, I fully understand a landlord wanting proof of creditworthiness - in other words, "Show me the money".
However, I think a lot of agency employees can't think even slightly outside the box. A UK resident with patchy employment record vs. a returning expat with a complete employment record (especially if it is in a middle-to-high income, professional job) ... I'd take the returning expat every time.

We have a dog and 2 cats and a high occupancy at 7! Needless to say its a "Show me the money" situation. Your unlikely to have a lot of credit rating so offering deposit, plus 6 months up front and an extra months rent to cover the pets, usually makes them listen. We just secured a house doing this.
