I think it's partly the British loving to moan and partly insecurity. When people asked me 'why did you come back?' I'd say 'because it's brilliant here - so much better than America' and almost always, people would break out into a smile and say something like 'yeah, it's not bad is it?'
You're right! Whenever I explain my reasons for wanting to move back people do completely get it, they just moan about something else 2 minutes later.

Lovely Attitude.... Yep we have to move back with an open mind....
I am moving back with a SA hubby & 3 kids !!! I am very excited at the thought of coming "home " after 25 years.... I have to be positive & I know that hard work & a passion for what you do can make a huge difference in ones life....
