Shit happens wherever you are. We all make decisions based on what we know at the time. Sometimes it works out, sometimes not. We should however accept the decisions and actions we take, which is much more helpful in moving on.
People can show empathy, but sympathy gets you nowhere.

Absolutely. For one reason or another we all made a choice to change something. Some adapt better than others. No use blaming the country or the people, it is personal choice. If it was the country and it's people pretty much every immigrant would be leaving.

Hi there- well we have given the country a fair shot, we are naturalized Canadians and been here 7 years, but when your career keeps going backwards at a fast rate, one needs to do something to adjust to it and stop it getting any worse. So thats why we are looking to go back, plus if you are on a low salary everyday living costs become a major consideration, and so when we worked out what we could be doing in the UK, we would be so much better off there.economically at least.

Too many different people who have too many different reasons for returning to make sweeping generalisations. And sometimes it is the country to blame!!

Many People post onto this forum all guns blazing complaining about the NHS, Crime , Immigrants, Gordon Brown, the weather and so on and using that as a reason to emigrate. It seems that many people are blaming Britain and it's people for their own problems so why can't we blame Canada.
