Re: Wifi
Had to same question as you. After some Information gathering, I am going for the solution buying a 4G router from MEO Portugal. They seem to have to have the best signal in CE. The router costs 50 Euro und you pay for 30 GB for 15 Euro valid for 15 Days. No contract needed. It is prepaid. You pay when you use. For residents , I woud consider Fibre throught Jazztell, but than you have a contrct who costs you at least 30 Euro a month.
When you consider 5G is on its way, maybe the mobile router is the best way to go.
In 2 weeks, I will be in CE, can tell you how it works.

Re: Wifi
i do the same for years now by using MEO and having a ZYEL WAH7706 4G router (this runs of a small solar / battery combo off-grid so to speak)
the only disadvantage is that you have to topup in Portugal but works well even on YouTube etc

Re: Wifi
I looked into this and many people advised me to use Priinet. Our neighbours have had their wifi for ages with them and have had no problems. They were very helpful when I emailed them, replied in English and gave a clear explanation of what they offer and the prices. In Feb I made an appointment for them to install in April. They came on the morning of the day agreed and all easily achieved. I have just been debited from our Spanish A/C today. One off €89 installation fee, €25 for May (per month) for the wifi and, as it was available for part of April, an additional €13 - spot on as agreed. Their web site is very clear too. All the best. Re: Wifi
My daughter was just out in Esuri and told me that our priinet was dropping out on a regular basis.I contacted them and after having the service for 5 years they now think I would benefit from being on the top banding.Has anyone else experienced recent problems and is the top band that much better and more reliable.

Jon... Capitans Wench Spanish spelling :-)
My Priinet has been steady for some time, I did have major issues some time ago which they worked on and solved. It is the top package here.

Re: Wifi
Since then it is going great.. they have upped the speed for the same price 25Eur to 16MB from 10MB and I've had a trouble free internet streaming 2 x HD videos, TV etc simultaneously with no buffering with unlimited data..A must for us for watching local TV and eg Netflix. Ive also managed a third stream too OK.
Once the hiccups are cleared it should work fine and you should contact them asap. if there is a problem. It never got so bad for us that I wanted to end the contract. Also its a secondary home, as you know we pay a reduced charge when away.
