Hi all,
I posted first a few months ago and arrived last week from Canada. I'm popping back and forth between here and a small place near Alvor, Portugal for the next few months but do hope to finally settle here.
The shops in Ayamonte were all closed this morning. I haven't been out again yet, but, wondering why they were closed. I can't find any info about Stat holidays or festivals when I searched online.

September the 8th is St Angustias Day The Patron St of Ayamonte . Most of town will have been at the Feria till 6 this morning

Yeah, we were out first thing this morning We will hit Lidl in the morning.

Hi, it is a local fiesta for Ayamonte so will not show in National Holidays.

Thanks alice57. I like what I have seen so far and am somewhat disappointed I have to go to Portugal for a few month. I hope to be back if I can work it out.
