Here in Rheindahlen, it is bright, sunny and early on quite cold (north-ish wind) - for about the last week or so.
We are probably going to get the Icelandic volcanic ash here as well sometime in the next day or so, unless it passes to the west of us over Holland - so it wont be oranje (jk for Jur's benefit) it will all turn smutty grey!

Sorry to hear your news Jur. Rain forecast for the weekend.
Scottish airports closed this morning due to the Icelandic volcanic ash.

There are going to be showers until at least Tuesday with thunderstorms and I thought it was all over until next year.

Are you sure? Just over the border in Lancashire which is of course on the right side of the Pennines!! Been out for a walk with my lovely silky coated black doggy and he has come back with rather more dandruff than I have ever seen on him before!!!
