Great a 'done deal' - you both seem sure.
Lets hope they can make something of this opportunity, being experienced in the golf business is certainly a plus - and I think they know how to attract the non-golfers, both of which are important to creating a successful business.

I will believe it when the Captain of the golf club says it is.
He has had direct contact with Canella ,so he would be first to know hopefully.

Es para nosotros un placer informar que a partir de hoy, día 14 de agosto 2019, la empresa ISLA CANELA S.A. se hace cargo de la gestión y explotación del campo de golf de Costa Esuri. Ha sido un proceso largo, en el que el Ayuntamiento de Ayamonte ha mostrado su compromiso y determinación para resolver la situación del campo de golf, primero con el apoyo decido del anterior alcalde D. Alberto Fernandez y posteriormente, por el nuevo equipo de gobierno liderado por la alcaldesa de Ayamonte Dña. Natalia Santos. A quienes agradecemos públicamente todas las gestiones realizadas.
Desde Isla Canela S.A. queremos transmitir nuestro compromiso más absoluto en intentar recuperar un activo tan importante como es un campo de golf, el cual, se unirá al ya existente en Isla Canela. La gestión de estos 36 hoyos, junto con la planta hotelera de Isla Canela, permitirá dinamizar el municipio a lo largo de los 12 meses del año, aportando riqueza y estabilidad a Ayamonte.
El reto que tenemos por delante no va a ser fácil, teniendo en cuenta el actual deterioro del campo de golf, pero nos comprometemos a poner los medios económicos y profesionales para que muy pronto, Ayamonte se convierta en un destino de golf de referencia a nivel nacional e internacional.
Isla Canela S.A., tal como viene haciendo desde hace años, reafirma así su compromiso y vinculación con el municipio de Ayamonte.
Por último, agradecer el trabajo y esfuerzo realizado a lo largo de este proceso a todas las partes implicadas.

It has been a long process in which the Ayamonte City Council has shown its commitment and determination to solve the golf course situation, firstly with the support from the former Mayor Mr. Alberto Fernández and lately with the new government team led by Mayor Mrs Natalia Santos to whom we would like to thank publicly for the arrangements done.
From Isla Canela S.A. we would also like to reflect our total commitment in the efforts of the recovery of the important asset that is this golf course which will join to the already working Isla Canela Golf Course. The offer of this 36 holes will join Isla Canela´s hotel vacancies, will allow to revitalise the town all year long by contributing with wealth and stability to Ayamonte.
Our challenge ahead is not going to be easy, having in mind the actual state of the golf course. But we commit, using economics and human means that Ayamonte will become a referenced golf destination to national and international levels.

2. “36 holes” does this include the East course, and are there any targets for work on Recovering the course for golf?
