Re: Restaurants
Hoya 19 Hole -
We arrived late on Saturday and the place was buzzing ( we can see from our place on Mananza 3, would loved to have gone over but too tired from travelling. We have been 2 times since then, one for a drink on the terrace, and for an evening meal. They offered a potato dish to accompany the starters foc, which we thought should be put on the menu like a tapas, it was really tasty. The meal was good and if we had not found a couple to talk to then we may have been able to make more comment!
The prices are reasonable, someone said cheaper in the town? but hey surely it is the venue and location that everyone has been craving.
We for sure will be going there again soon and long may they continue :-))

Re: Restaurants
Have been to 'Hoyo 19th Hole' for lunch, just had a starter from the Restaurant menu but from tomorrow there will be light snacks available upstairs e.g. sandwiches etc. The chefs are the same Spanish guys who were at the Clubhouse for 3 weeks when Esuri River Golf first took over so hopefully we will be able to sample their food for longer this time. Regards Bryony

Re: Restaurants
Let's give the guys a chance to set things up their way, after all it's only been a few days and it's their new venture. I am sure they know what they are doing and more likely to do it properly unlike the last owner? A social, drinking and snack/tapas terrace would be good to start with and if you want a full meal it's not to far to pop downstairs. Once they get some profits in and under their belts they will be able to expand on staff and extra things to please us all. Last thing we want is another all singing and dancing venue that goes to the wall. Over next week and looking forward to giving them my support!!

Re: Restaurants
One thing nobody has mentioned is that the bar area downstairs has a new layout.
The bar itself has been moved with its back to the lift shaft where there used to be some seaing.Which means that the area where it was situated is now a much more usable space.
The kitchen is now situated downstairs to the right of the entrance.

Re: Restaurants
Lets hope we can all convince Manolo to serve full meals upstairs not just snacks. I'll certainly try. Shame on a nice day to have a 'proper meal' but not on the wonderful terrace. The resto downstairs in Summer isnt my preference for having a 'proper' lunch. Or on a nice evening, dinner. If he hears it from enough people hopefully he will change that...
