Great stuff, good to see them still going stong after two years at the helm.
It goes to show that the demand is there, and people are willing to support functions of most types, and enjoy getting out.

And shows how many people are about takes some filling the golf club and terrace,am sure if them Or Jag's started a quiz night maybe one a month it would go down well with most people, including the locals. All good news for Esuri.

Last night there was Live Music on the terrace, provided by Marco Mascarenhas - rock and pop singer. Very enjoyable; sitting watching the sun go down over the Portuguese hills and the river; a cooling breeze, calming music and no mozzies. Unfortunately, it was only sparsely attended. Bit of a shame.

The girls seem to have a number of similar events planned over coming weeks. Hope they are better supported. They are trying.

We have friends staying at Lagos and want to meet for a meal about half way between Ayamonte and Lagos. Suggestions gratefully received

Ken, great idea, it would certainly encourage more people to use the facilities. The girls, or Jag, may find it too time consuming to do themselves, but perhaps they could second one of the Golf Club members to undertake it on their behalf. We have a monthly quiz at our Golf Club at home, and it is always well attended.

One of the ambitions of the residents association (CERA) is to arrange more social events. If you are a memeber why not suggest it?

The girls at the Golf Club have a number of events organised for both July and August.

They do not have a 'website' as such; only Facebook. But they are happy to e-mail details to anyone who wants to know. Once I receive their e-mail I can either pass it on, or let people have their e-mail address.
