Repair to Canvas Awnings
We live in Ayamonte and have a number of canvas awnings that have eyelets to allow them to be hung using cable ties. A few of the eyelets have become damaged and the canvas torn so they need repaired / patched / darned and new eyelets inserted. Does anyone know where we can get the canvas repaired in or around Ayamonte? A sail maker or sail repairer should do it, and with all the sailing ships around, I would have expected there to be one somewhere close by. Any sailors out there? Thanks in advance for a pointer.

Hi ElizabethAnn, You could try Ayatoldos in Ayamonte, they repair awnings. They are situated in Calle Lope De Vega 18, Ayamonte. Tel.645 888 608, its on the ring road that runs from the football stadium parallel to the estuary, and comes out opposite the petrol station. If you're struggling with the language, send them a WhatsApp in English and they will get it translated.

Peter who owns Vintage restaurant in Plaza de la Constitution used to install the large sail like sun shields
