Could someone explain where the classified adverts were on the expats site please? I only saw the temp closure announcement today. I always understood that the site was strictly NO advertising even to the point yesterday where someone offered to tutor Spanish language ( heart in the right place etc), but the post was moderator removed due to a small overheads charge, hence contravening the rules. It would be useful to offer unwanted items in Spain for sale for a minimal price. For example: our grandchildren no longer need all manner of paraphanalia but it remains cluttering up our wardrobes because it is too good to throw away. Unfortunately we have no means of advertising it or even giving it away. We could do with a " Gumtree " section for members, but perhaps limited to just say six or ten ads a year to prevent business abuse. Any thoughts?

Look to the top menu on the BE page. The option is 3rd from right. Unfortunately it is closed at the present time due to a tech hitch following the site upgrade. Correct. There is no advertising within posts on our open chat forums. BE keeps those clutter free for chat. Anyone placing a BE classified would be free to place a link to that advert in their BE signature. |
