Hi,
Is there an easy way to pay the council tax online?
Previously we have been in Ayamonte and done it in person by collecting the bills and paying at the bank.
This year we won't be able to be there.
We have all the bill numbers etc from last years payment.

We pay all our IBI and monthly Giahsa bills by credit card on sgth.es
Use the blue 'pago de recibos' button. You need the unique bank reference number from each bill. All the bills are available online. We have a house in Huelva province but no longer have a Spanish bank account as all bills can now easily be paid from UK accounts.

Under the yellow heading on sgth.es click on 'Domiciliar tributos' and select your Spanish bank. Then sign in using your online banking ID, NIE and password. Your current bills are then displayed.

If you don't have a Spanish bank account you need sight of current paper bills to find each bill's unique bank payment reference number. Once you have that you can pay on sgth.es blue button.

Blimey I fell at the first hurdle.

Last year we had to go to the Tributaria to collect the bills due for payment.

Can this year's be found online? We have last year's with us here in England.

I noticed Banco Sabadell is not in the list of preferred banks??

You can only access your IBI bill online by identifying yourself using your Spanish bank's signing in details, or your digital signature (should you have one, most folk don't). Sabadell doesn't appear to be in the scheme.

Without such sign in information you will need actual sight of the paper bill sent to your address in June 2015.

Hi encodeme, why not set up a direct debit at their office in Ayamonte, we set up a direct debit with them 7 years ago, and they take the money once a year in August. Their office is located opposite the El Ferry restaurant, just off Lagune Sq.
