Moving to Ayamonte - Isla Cristina
Hi Guys
New member to the expat fórum.
We are thinking of moving to the Ayamonte-Isla Cristina área from Malaga for business purposes, are there any regular meets where people get togethor and share local info etc ?
Thanks

Depends what you are looking for. I don't know of any Expat business groups (probably because most people we meet around here are retired) that meet regularly but there are "golfing groups" and a Bridge group if you play either. There is also an opportunity to learn Spanish starting in September run by the Town Hall in Ayamonte where you will meet a mix of nationalities, many of whom are learning for business purposes. Need a bit more information to help more specifically.

One of the best places to meet British people living here, whether they are active or retired is Carolina´s cafe in the Laguna Square , the main square in town, where the Town Hall is. You will meet there a very good mix between British and Spanish.

Thanks...
We are not yet retirement age... it was just finding ex `pats in the local área andpossibly with a view to someone helping us with our Business.
I am already a Spansih speaker after living in Spain 15 years.
