Fingers crossed there's a serious golf company putting forward an offer. Hopefully with solid plans to finish the hotel as well!

Really interesting - thanks for keeping an eye on this GW... and sharing when you have the info.

I'm surprised that there are not more plots for sale though .. and I don't see mention of the golf. I wonder if they are doing it in phases... as I'm guessing that they have much more properties, land, parking, CC'c etc available.

I may be misunderstanding but they seem to be selling parking places for instance 90 in las Encinas?

Thats an interesting mix.

The first one is the plot where the reputed 5* hotel was to be built up at the top of the site in front of the Tinsa wreckage and has the highest reserve €1.4m.

The second one is the second 4* hotel site up near Colinas with a reserve of €0.85m and finally:-

the third is the West Golf Course complete with the clubhouse with a reserve of €1.1m.

To my eyes a strange mix. The two hotel sites are derelict with I would guess no real demand for rooms for a good few years. Also who would build a 5* star hotel with an entrance opposit the disaster that is Tinsa. Also the the last sign that Fadesa had on both plots was for ApartHotels although I don't know if they changed the planning approvals. Again the only hotel with any construction is excluded and separated from the golf course with which it is associated. Does this mean that it is being sold by private treaty as rumoured!

Where does the East Golf Course fit in this mix?

The third one is both East & West golf courses plus golf club house and maintenance areas, EsuriJohn.

Ooh, it's that time of the year again...season of optimism.

Perhaps some joined up thinking is required?

Not sure you are correct there. The photo and the large scale plan only show the west course. It is a google map so you can move it about and only the west course is shaded grey and has a symbol on it. The east course around our house is not shown in any defined way. Maybe the Liquidator does not know it is there.

I am looking at it on my iPad and I cannot get it to show anything after "edificabilidad" so you seem to be getting more than me Fred but that seems much more sensible. Still the mystery as to where the half complete hotel fits in. Also the areas for each golf course seems small if they really mean sq m.

Eight hundred and eighty one thousand square meters (881 hectares) seems quite a lot to me - it's nearly 220 acres in real money.

Of course it's a full stop not a comma. I took it to be a decimal point therefor 881 and a bit square meters. Your right it's big enough for a golf course and more. Still can't find the extra info Fed pulled up but it does now look complete and all up for grabs.
