Good news for curry lovers who like home cooking
Hi
I think most people here who like a good 'Ruby' will know that the Marahajah Patiala in Monte Gordo has been recommended for a while now.
Along with Maya next to the post office.
Well today I noticed that they are about to open a grocery store selling 'proper' Indian supplies
A few months ago I went to a place near Faro, that was disappointing.
Looking in this shop (see photo) they have 'proper' supplies.
Walk down the pedestrian road from Navegadores hotel .. towards the ocean/casino. About 20 - 30 yards down on the LEFT is the shop. Ignore the arrows on the photo. They put the sandwich board the wrong way around!!
Its just before the corner where the Chinese resto is ( never tried but had good reviews).
Then turn left for the resto itself.

We have found the Punjab restaurant worth the drive to Tavira. Just near the Roma bridge in the square.

The resto has.. but I haven't noticed the shop itself, they are also not ready as they haven't finished setting it up as you can see from the boxes on the road. The inside wasn't ready when I walked by.
