just been there for lunch, and menu exactly the same as it was before Christmas. And apparently, the rumours of the golf club being sold/selling are untrue, according to the staff there. The plot thickens!!

I have not eaten there yet so I do not know what the menu consists of, or how much it costs.

its quite a wide and varied menu and good value, a meal for 4 of us with drinks and coffees was just over 40 euros. The standard of food you will have to judge for yourself but service is excellent.
there are two menus, one more of an 'a la carte' and the other being more of a 'bar menu' which is much cheaper. Portions on both menus are large.

Not played on Esuri for five months but been to restaurant twice in last two days. Can recommend the burgers and last night had medallions of pork in pepper sauce. Fantastic value and the club interior decor improves with ever visit. Hope course just as good.

Went to the GC last night - it may not be the culinary destination of the year but it is local and convenient if there's something good on the telly.
Was told that the kitchen closed at 7 o'clock! No wonder the place was empty. This is Easter fortnight and the area is packed surely a little local catering is not too much to ask?

It’s the unreliability that will also drive people away. I did the same last week, missed the kitchen as it closed at 6. On our second attempt the kitchen was closed at 4pm because the cook had a bad back and they didn’t have a contingency plan. We experienced exactly the same last year with staff sickness. I wouldn’t plan to take friends there now, might only go on the off chance of food with a can of baked beans in the cupboard as back up

I’ve had the same problem this week, took friends in to be told straight away the kitchen was closed and they were closing at 8.30/9pm. Felt very unwelcome as soon as we walked in.

Sadly that means that the Pakistani guy wasn't there, I forget his name.
He was always welcoming and friendly. I hope he's still there and it was his day off.
Click your heels 3 times and imagine a proper club, a hotel with at least one bar and resto... And with a little walk, a 'boutique hotel' with more options.......
....hey while we are there... A marina with dockside bars/restos!!!!
