Not necessarily bad news for CE as it says they are trying to liquidate (ie sell off) assets to bring down the debt. This could mean a fire-sale, therefore a very attractive proposition for a new investor - eg a hotel/golf chain. : )

AND we would be shot of MF for good. (although the cynics might say that it's better the devil you know......!)

Are there any takers out there even at a knock down price? Golf is in decline and courses no longer subsidised by the developer to sell property have to make money for their investors.

Hi been asked (albeit a bit late in reading my post!) to put the links on from my last post re debt swop - there were so many will need to find the post that prompted me to write - just for a laugh I emailed MF good job didn't hold my breath as still waiting for a reply... lol

I for one in view of recent events remain positive for the future
