It is the large double axle bus that is operated by the Dramas bus company.

Great video thanks!

Good to see it when away, though I also sometimes feel like I am going around in circles

Is your Carcam a separate device, or is it say a smartphone mounted on a suction cup holder on a windscreen please? Just wondering what you use it for (Ive seen videos of incredible car accidents in Russia with them).

Just curious about the advantages of a carcam, and wondering if its another 'gadget' to add to the list!

Jon

PS yes John its a 'double axle' schoolbus, with contra rotating rear differential, servo assisted brake thrusters, and double overriding cambelt tensioners.... and cup-holders for the kids

PPS 'Piston broke'

Timetables have been agreed, bus stop locations sited, the contract has been signed however it requires a countersignature by the Mayor and we have elections in May. Holidaymakers don't vote so we are probably waiting for a suitable photo op to suit his programme.

Just change my handle from grumpy to cynical!

This is for the Costa Esuri Minibus who knows when the Eurocity bus might start if all the Mayors from Punta Moral to Caveco have similar considerations.

Uniden unit bought for $60 when living in Sydney, NSW as about 60% are P drivers :homy:

it records on a 32Gb micro SD memory card in 3 minute cycles and when full it overrides the oldest recording. it has internal batteries and when the car is being hit it starts recording and locks the current recording. power comes from the aux power as we use this one in different vehicles including rental.

here in the UK we have better pictures quality CARCAMs permanent installed in both our cars.

Thanks for the explanation, I had heard of something like it in Russia - but didnt know how it works.. Sounds like a good idea, but perhaps in Europe we dont need it, though for 60bucks not that much... and since you had them already you use them anyway. Would you recommend them for those of us that are in Europe permanently....?

Thanks again

I've been looking into Dashcams recently, but I am running into the old problem of no one posting to Gibraltar.
However the following website I found interesting

Techmoan - Techmoan - Mini 0803 - Probably The Best Mini Dashcam with a Screen
