Default Ayamonte Zoo

Hi, does anyone know what is happening at Ayamonte Zoo. The plight of the remaining animals has now hit the English newspapers , so just wondering if anything is moving forward. I tried to get Seville zoo involved in taking the animals years ago, to no avail. If anyone has any more ideas on what can be done from afar, please let me know., Thanks

Hi Sarah,
i live in Ayamonte, and can't seem to find anyone who can tell me what is happening!?
im very concerned for these poor animals, but apart from seeing the reports of the situation, I can't find anything about who or which bodies are helping!!

The Born Free organisation have replied to a query from someone I know, regarding the zoo and said they were informed that most of the animals have been found a home. They are looking to update soon as they were not aware they were not being well looked after. .

Thank you for the replies, I have emailed Seville zoo again and will await an update to share. I am over at Easter so fingers crossed by then those beautiful animals will have been rescued. If you find out anything in the meantime, please do share.
