Big Man has suggested heading to the newly renovated Criterion Hotel at 260 Pitt Street on the corner of Park street in the CBD:
The Criterion
This place has recently undergone transformation into a PJ Gallaghers Pub, and promises to bestow a decent pint of Guinness.
