Sydney CBD Social - 13th February
Hey Folks,
As discussed last week, this week we are going to try the Flyover Bar, which, according to their website, is the best bar in the CBD:
The Flyover Bar
It may be a little tricky to find for folks who don't know the area, so the address is:
Lower concourse, Westpac building, 275 Kent Street, in the CBD. It's right underneath the flyover that leads to the harbour bridge, and is part of the Westpac building food court.
This is a new bar, and this will be our first time there, so let's give it a whirl and see if it lives up to its marketing hype.
As usual, I'll be there from 6:30 onwards.

Always good to try out new places. Especially the best bar in the CBD!

New?? You sure? I'm sure I recollect going there a few years ago with some work colleagues...may have had a different name then.

You may be getting confused with The Sussex Hotel that is also under the flyover, and underneath the Westpac building, but possibly not.
Anybody have any suggestions for this week?

NO, it was definately a bar on the lower concourse of the Westpac, not a hotel, just a bar.

Ah, that's the one then. Maybe it was there under a previous name? It was certainly busy, given its location, though it was also certainly not cheap.
