Just arrived in Brisbane from England
Hi I'm Charlotte, 18 years old and I arrived in Brisbane last week. I'm working as an au pair in Springfield lakes but I'm struggling to meet people my own age. I really want some company so I can start seeing stuff and doing really cool things! Please get in touch if you're interested in meeting with me and having fun!

Hi Charlotte I live in Springfield Lakes and have 2 nieces who also live in the lakes who are in their very early 20's with a wide circle of friends. If you are still struggling send me your contact details in a private message and I will get one of them to give you a ring.
You don't say where in England you are from (not that it matters) but my nieces are good old Yorkshire lasses

I'm from the Sunshine Coast and would be more than happy to hang out, get a drink or anything if you are still looking for people to meet!
I can also introduce to some women around the 19-22 range. I know Springfield Lakes is 30 minutes from the CBD so understandable if it's hard to get there or you're busy. Best of luck finding some lovely people!

Hey, my name Is Neil, I'm 24 and moved here from Scotland. I find myself in a similar position looking for new friends so if you want to go for a drink or a coffee or something in the city sometime then get in touch !

Re: Just arrived in Brisbane from England
Missed this post, just been working in Brisbane for the past 5 weeks. I would suggest looking on meetup.com or couchsurfing.org or searching for facebook groups/pages. I've known of a few au pairs in Brisbane and one Swedish girl has met people best through FB groups.
