Re: Castle Hill RSL-Tuesdays 10.30am
I have only passed it in the ve-hicle, but it is a large area with very exciting looking eqpt, so looks like it would be OK for older kids - and it's opposite the Westfield so handy to pick up coffee/lunch. And if it's pouring down, we could always take shelter in the soft toy place in the Westfield.....
YanH is more familiar with the Playground (Willow is the name), so I will ask her to comment on a new thread called
Hornsby Willow Playground - Tues 15th Jan

Hi, Just to let you know I couldn't access my private message due to a pop up blocker.
As it happens, I might not be able to meet you tomorrrow anyway. My husband is somewhat incapacitated with sciatica at the mo and I might have to ferry him around to the docs/osteopath etc tomorrow. Really sorry. Will let you know tomorrow and if I can't make this week - I would love to come next week instead!
PS Hi Jo, yes I am the lady you met at kindergym. Hope to see you again soon!

Do you mean 'on holiday at home with us' or 'on holiday away with us' ? Because the meet is not 'females only' - if it's the former, bring him along!
Otherwise, see you in a fortnight

Copied from another thread....
I might be in CH (returning dud purchases from today!) on Tuesday, so if others are there I will stop in for a quick coffee.... I will watch this space to see what's happening....

My list of things to do is getting longer by the minute, so I'm sorry to say I am not at all reliable for tomorrow..... in fact, best count me out as well, sorry.
Next week or week after should be OK, so hope to see most of you then

Re: Castle Hill RSL-Tuesdays 10.30am
Hi all,
As you can probably guess im new to all this and I have been recommended to you guys from someone on Poms in Oz.
I recently posted a blog on Poms asking if there was anyone around the Hills area in Sydney who would like to meet up for a coffee? Myself, my husband and our 3 year old boy have been here since 2nd Jan 08, and since then we have been busy sorting out a house & checking out the sights etc. My husband has now started work so just me and my little fella at home all day. There's only so much shopping and sightseeing we can do before my son starts to get ratty and fed up. To be honest I too am feeling a little home sick and missing my friends and family especially when my husbands at work.
So after reading your post I would really like to meet up with you all, if thats ok? I also think my son could do with socialising with other kids too on a regular basis as he's becoming a bit of a nightmare which I think is all down to the big changes in his life.
If someone would post me the details of your next meeting I will definitely pencil it in my diary. I have no transport at the moment, but I have been catching the bus to Castle Hill Towers Centre most days so know a little of the area.
Hope to hear from you all soon.
Best regards
Rebecca (and Mackenzie)
