Brisbane - January / February 2017
 

Hi!

We're fairly new to this forum but we arrive in Australia mid-January 2017 and will be moving to Brisbane as of February 2017 for work. We are Myself (31), my partner (34) and our 3 - year old daughter.

We don't have any family in Brisbane (although we do have some in Perth), so are hoping to meet people when we get there and try and settle in!

We're not sure what suburb we are likely to be living in just yet, but we'll be in an apartment in or around Brisbane CBD at first.

Looking forward to our new adventure!

Very excited for you guys. Brissy is a great city and you'll have a super time exploring and finding a suburb to live in. Quite a few BE'ers around town, including Sal and I.

It's going to pretty toasty by the time you arrive so be prepared!

Welcome Twinny! We have been in Brisbane for nearly 2 years now and also know SoCalDon (above post) and other BE'ers in the area. Shame you won't be here already by New Year's Day as the local folks often get together that day in the city for some drinks and laughs.
