if you are not tied to Perth for a work reason .. look a little further south Bunbury is growing with a lot of trade work in that area way better for family and kids

His mate owns a construction firm in Perth so thats where the job is any reccomendations of good areas for schools etc? Ive heard Dalkeith is good but expensive. We'll be selling our house here so will be coming over with a decent amount but will probably rent first off.

I cant say regarding Perth and the greater Perth area been through it and been init many times and there is lots of nice /good areas its very sprawling so take the advice of his mate .. I would recommend that you do lease 1st , a short term 6 month if you can, so can relocate if you get it wrong thats what we did ..

Brill, thanks for the advice. His mate lives in Scarborough but having looked online it seems to be a place for young travellers, few nightclubs etc, and a main holiday destination. Not really the kind of place I wanted. Will keep looking. Where are you based now?
