We have current opportunities in Cairns, Towsville, Rockhampton, Bundaberg, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Mount Isa, Darwin and Alice Springs. Wherever you settle, you need to be registered (AHPRA) to practice as a nurse in Oz.

Send me your CV via the email on my signature, and I will see what's available for when you are ready to go.

Is there any help you could give me on agencies etc would like to work in cairns, brisbane and melbourne and then look into sponsorship opportunities! Any information would be a great help! There's so much out there hard to know where to start!

I have several positions for Scrub/Scout and Anesthetics/Recovery Nurses all over Australia. Applicants must be AHPRA registered or have a Letter of Eligibility. Sponsorship may be available, but preference will be given to Australian Citizens, Permanant Residents or those with a Skilled Visa. I may also be able to place suitably qualified and AHPRA regisitered nurses who have a WHV, but you may have to go into rural areas.

I'm also seeking both Dual and Single certificate Midwives for opportunities across Australia. Most hospitals now require DC qualifications. You MUST have AHPRA in both Midwifery and General Nursing.

Please send your CV if interested.

Hello Genorm

I am a UK qualified (degree) nurse with two years post grad experience in the community sector. I have been using a migration agent who has advised to go the regional state nominated route as I would get points for having that visa. I am currently 43 and still need another years experience to qualify for this visa. I recently went to australia to do a reccie and after speaking to blue care agency and from this website have found that the job market for community nurses to be a little disappointing and worrying. I do not want to pay out all the money for the agent and
Visa costs if the prospects of finding a job are bleak. I have heard that community nursing is not the same as in the UK and do not want to be a glorified carer. I also do not want to work on a ward. I would be happy to work in a
Clinic or planned treatment type role. What do you think the chances are of finding this type of job? I can send you my CV to see what you think my opportunities may be?

Thanks

Nurse Mandie

Hi Mandie,

I must admit, it's not an area that we get too many requests for from employers. However, it's the "how long is a piece of string" scenario, being able to predict the future job market anywhere.

I assume by "wards" you mean general wards. There are extreme shortages for nurses in specialist areas such as Oncology. Having said that, I do generally only recruit on behalf of private hospitals.

If you are going for the RSMS which state are you planning to go to? It's possible that I may have some regional positions coming up in Queensland, and some of these may be in the Public hospital system.

Please send me your CV, and let me know which state you are planning to go to.

Best Regards

Dave
