Our client, a Luxury Hotel, Restaurant and Spa centre, is situated on the iconic Mornington Peninsula, approximately one hour from Melbourne.

We are currently seeking applications from highly qualified, skilled and motivated candidates for the position of:

Restaurant Manager - Victoria

The Employer:

Our client owns and operates an absolutely, amazing complex, situated on Victoria's iconic Mornington Peninsula, being approximately one hour's drive from Melbourne. The resort incorporates a Country House Hotel, Award winning restaurant, and a superb spa and wellness centre. There are also tennis courts and a Conference Centre, free parking and wi-fi.

The award winning restaurant provides stylish, fresh meals to guests, including breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Opportunity:

The current position on offer, is that of Restaurant Manager. The succussful applicant will be responsible for the day to day operation of the restaurnat, in conjunction with the General Manager.
This is a Career opportunity, and the employer is able to offer a 457* visa sponsorship to the successful candidate should they be from outside of Australia.

A commencement salary circa AUD $55k - $60k is on offer.

As a 457 visa holder, the successful applicant will be able to negotiate with the employer for sponsorship of Permanent Residency in Australia, prior to the 457 (4 year) visa expiration.

The Candidate:

To be successful, candidates will need to be highly skilled, qualified and motivated to ensure the Restaurant maintains the high standards that it currently sets. You MUST be able to supervise other staff members, be capable of relating to guests, and above all, have an exceptionally high standard of the English language. Furthermore, candidates must be prepared to work within the demands of the business, including shifts and some unsociable hours during peak times.

The Restaurant requires the Manager to be available to work 45-48 hours per week, generally between the hours of 11.00 am and midnight (on a shift basis). It is envisaged that the Manager will work Wednesday through Sunday, with Monday's and Tuesday's off. Flexibility may be required for special events, such as weddings, and Public (Bank) Holidays.

Availability:

The position is available from the date advertised. However, it is expected that the visa process could take several months. The employer's sponsorship commits them to acceptance of this timeline.

*PLEASE NOTE:

The Applicant is responsible for payment of their fees related to the lodgement and completion of their 457 visa application. This cost, plus the cost of the use of an Australian Registered Migration Agent, (Recommended) are applied via Australian law, and are non negotiable. In addition, the successful candidate will be required by law to take out private Health Insurance as a condition of the 457 visa.

School Premiums: There are NO premiums applied to children of 457 Visa Holders in Victoria.
