I am the Manager of a local animal refuge up here in Queensland, Hervey Bay.
Our caretakers are due to leave on the !st April this year, so I am about to advertise for new ones. It suddenly occoured to me to advertise here too!!!!
So, what are we looking for. Well ideally, but not nessessarily, a mature able bodied couple, financially self supporting or on a pension. They must have a great love of animals and be able to work with the management and a team of volunteers. We will require police checks to be done, clean drivers licences, colour photos of aplicants and 3 references.

duties will include the cleaning of kennels, and a cattery, (when we build it) looking after the grounds, maintenance and general duties, ie, vet runs, donation pick ups etc....
In exchange for this we have a lovely 4 bedroomed queenslander house on the property, free rent, and free electricity.
