Default Top spots in OZ

Hi

Has anybody heard of or even been to a place called Perrinjori which is apparently 100 miles outside Perth

If anyone has heard of it or has actually been there could they tell me a bit about it as I would be very interested and grateful to.

Many thanks

Essex Girl

EG,
I think this is the one ?

Your spelling was a little different. Put the name in Google search and a few things come up.

I believe its called AYRES ROCK. Anyway.....thanks folks for sharing your lovely spots with everyone, its been interesting reading the posts, and learning why people pick these spots as their favourites.
Actually - its official name (coined by the Aboriginals thousands of years ago) is Uluru.

Now, now children, lets not argue.
You obviously got off on the wrong foot with each other.
Lets start again and allow me to introduce you.

Come on folks, since you are all here trying to get to, or already in OZ, what are your top spots in OZ?

Here are mine from previous visits:

1.Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney

2. Crown Casino, Melbourne

3. Kings Park & Botanic Garden, Perth

4. Aquarius Roman Baths, Launceston

5. Art Gallery of South Australia, Adelaide

Lets have it folks
Sydney (The Barracks Museum) I actually typed my home town of Bradford into the database low and behold only two prisoners came from Bradford!! one of them a highway robber sentenced to life. Surname Berry good god thats my surname. Spooky or what?

Beach hopping along the Port Macquarie coast, Heaven.

Getting off Quicksilver on the barrier reef and snorkelling with Andrea, after convincing her that they wouln't let us into the water if there were sharks about!!! within 5 mins what did we clock swimming away from us? Yep a bloody shark about 6/7 foot long. andrea's face was a picture i tried to catch up with it (what a fool) while Andrea swam away as fast as she could.

Sky diving Cairns. Done bungee in Turkey and thought i knew fear?
But to hear the experienced diver strapped to my back say " i'll just slacken these straps to make you feel more comfortable!!!!" Well 43 years old i may be but those words will follow me to my grave. Ever tried holding onto someone behind you? Arms and legs weren't meant to bend that way but if your scared enough they will.

Wasn't so keen on Coffs harbour. No particular reason just not my cup of tea.

Loved Brisbane and in particular Wynnum but alas due to points sysem we find that Melbourne will be our first port of call (for two years at least)

I adored OZ and cant wait to see it again one way or another.

The coastline and scenery around Denmark & Albany in WA's southwest is fantastic - really dramatic and totally unspoilt - well worth a visit...
