I remember them in Oz, we had them from the Westfield mall and ate them on Bondi beach!

Holy crap - that's a beastie!! My Aussie hubby keeps calling british prawns shrimps...he says aussie prawns are much bigger...he wasn't wrong :D

Just to answer some questions raised on these beauts............

They were not caught in west sussex !

There was no trick photography

They were bought at the local fish stall in shellharbour NSW.....I think called giant north pacific or something........


I bet someone tells me that they were probably fed a diet of chemicals to get so big............all I can say is they tasted superb in some lovely bread....

when I get there I bet they are even better on a barbie.
