Are you living in the Central Coast, NSW?
I meet a lovely lady who was was British and was wondering if their are any other British ladies who live in the Central Coast. Perhaps near Green Point, Terrigal, Batuae Bay, Wyong? Write back and let us all know. Thanks!

Hi Jan, I am not British as I've mentioned earlier but I would love to meet you for a coffee, preferably in the late morning? Let me know what you think?

Hi Mel
I am moving to the central coast on 25th September. I have two children aged 14 and 9. I have to sort schools out the first week I arrive but would love to meet up with all you other ladies when im settled.
I feel really apprehensive about the move. I have been living in Brisbane for 2 years after leaving England, I really didnt think I would be doing it all over again.
My 14 year old son is really not happy as he has made some good friends here, I just hope that i pick the right school for hm and that it all works out.
bye for now

Schools up here are pretty good. Kincumber public is good. The schools around Terrigal I think are much better than Wyong way. However, St Edwards may be a bit of a wait, but it is the best school! The 14yr old will make plenty of friends here. I can only tell you what I have heard from other ladies who have had children.

Hi
Thanks for your reply. I am a little worried about the schools, well the high school anyway. Its such a daunting thought walking into a new high school, I think im just doing the worried mother thing!
I heard a couple of not so nice things about Kincumber high school, the lady from the realestates told me that she was pulling her boy out of there and that it wasnt very good. Its so very difficult to know what to believe, everyone has such different views dont they.

That is so true. I meant Kincumber primary school and then St Edwards High School.

Thanks Mel.
I am thinking of sending James to Erina High school, because our address comes under that catchment. I think Erina is ok.
Do you know anyone who sends there children to Erina High?

Personally, I don't know anyone who has enrolled their children to that school. I could ask around at the gym. However, St Eds is in the region also. They probably have a school bus nearby but maybe just send him to Erina until you get to know the area a bit more. I would hate to recommend that school if it isn't that good. I hope you understand where I am comming from.

Cool, I live up the other end, in Terrigal, so I cant actually drive so I guess we wont meet. But I think there are many people with dogs that you can associate with up that way. I am the opposite, I have two small dogs, king charles! They are adorable creatures and they are good listeners and cuddle up to you when you need a cuddle lol!
