You don't sound boring Just a hint, when you want to reply to a particular post, click on 'Quote' at the bottom of that post and then that poster can see that you're responding to their post, like I've done with this one.
Connecting with the familiar is the reason many people join BE, there's nothing like talking with people from your own country who just 'get' you!

Yep, all in similar boats, thats why I suggested contact with Sean (Cresta57)and Deb as they live near you. Whether you drink or not is irrelevant, you don't need to drink top enter the club

Wow, what made you move if you don't mind me asking? My partner wants to move to Australia, we don't know where yet, and will be a while before everything clicks into place but just interested why you chose the particular area etc! Also from West Yorkshire 😊

First things first - have you researched what visa you could get which would allow you to move?

You say your partner wants to move to Australia having spent a holiday there, but it is not as simple as just moving - you need a visa.

Yeah I know that, just researching at the minute! He traveled there for a year, so the plan is to do that again together, look into places etc then go from there, either come home first or extend visas or whatever we would need to do!

Perhaps ask in the Oz Immy forum. Lots of BE folk that are very knowledgeable on that front.

Having a few people over here doesn't help with visas.
