Well shave my arse & call me Baldbutts.
Was up all night thinking of that call to AHC (just my luck that really was all he was thinking about-MRS BALDBUTTS)
Rang them at 10:10 (didn't want to look too keen)to be told the guy who is dealing with us is not in today(apparently he got mugged by a tortoise,but couldn't give a description as it all happened too fast!)but some other Sheila told us wots wot.
I was asked a couple of questions about our de facto relationship (which contradicted our declarations-hope they don't pick up on it)& told that my chest x ray had been sent to Sydney for 3-4 weeks for examination.It seems that I have some swelling on my lungs usually associated with smokers-never smoked except for that time I used petrol on the barbie.The GP at my examination said it's nowt to worry about & they should have no problem with it (so why am I crapping breeze blocks).
So that's it folks,in about 1 months time we should have the all clear to get out there-just the house to flog now (should any of you want it ,we'll do you a good deal).

my agent phoned today i asked about the $ investment in WA for my extra points so hes sending me the form, so i asked about team 1 and his contact at ahc has gone on a identity parade some thing to do with tortoises and ninja turtles, butt he says it will still be a few months yet drat.

- we must wait until the High Commission ask us to pay the bond - they send a form for this purpose.
- when asked, you contact the appropriate state governments and check the interest rates (you would usually take the one giving the best rates). They will send you the application forms. If you want to shortcut, you may be able to get the forms sooner. The appropriate governments are New South Wales, Queensland and WA.
- You send the money (as a draft) and the state treasury forms and the form given to you by Immigration.
- When they receive the money, the state treasury will stamp the Immigration form and return it to you as evidence that the bond is lodged - this goes to the High Commission.
