Yipee!!
Got home this lunchtime, letter from AHC yipee they've granted me the visa, one annoying thing insufficient postage caused the letter to take six weeks to get here but never mind.... I'm very happy!
I will post details on austimeline when I have more time.
For info they received my application for spouse visa on the 18th February 2002, date of acceptance letter 11th March 2002, posted on 12th March 2002, arrived in Gibraltar today 30th April.
Brissie here I come.
Good luck to everyone else on here waiting.

Congratulations CazSue,
It certainly didnt take you long to get which is encouraging!
Did you front load your app with medicals and police checks etc or wait until you were instructed?
Regards
Cobber

Re: Yipee!!
Thanks for your good wishes Jasmine,
I plan to be in Brisbane by mid-July, my hubby is a brisbanite so thankfully, already have house, already visited school that my son will be going to, so now it's just a mad panic to pack things, I am selling my apartment after I leave, the hardest thing I have to do is find a home for my two darling cats.
Cobber, I did front load my application with medical and police check, mainly because I live in Gibraltar and took the opportunity to have my medicals done when I was over in the UK for Christmas.
Good luck to anyone going through the process.
Anyway, have packing to do so must shoot.
Regards
Caz

Congrats!
I submitted around the same time as you (also spouse visa), and am patiently waiting.
I wonder how fast would they get the processing going... but then again, I'm applying
in Singapore.
I handed in the application in person, and got the "acknowledgement letter" on the
spot, which also include instructions for more proof of relationship. Seems like it's
the way they do things here. The guy receiving the application just re-sort
everything, and gave me the acknowledgement letter, and told me I have to submit
those extras by a certain date.
So off I went for the medicals and police clearance, which I duly submitted 2 weeks
later. (Medicals was posted to the Australia High Comm by the clinic).
Have not heard anything since then.
