I know we have MOTs, Road Tax & Insurance here in the UK, but what is equal in OZ and where do i purchace ? and roughly what cost. Thanks

We have insurance and rego. Rego is your sort of road fund licence. There is no MOT or equivalent in Queensland. Obviously your insurance and rego will change depending on what type of vehicle you have.

I'm pretty sure you have a safety certificate in QLD, for when the car is sold registered (and not to or between licensed dealers). Not a yearly check like the MOT, or in NSW, but still a road worthy when required.

Someone in QLD should probably also mention how CTP insurance works there, if that is the state the OP is looking at moving to.
