You can either get your doctor to send the forms of for you or if you haven't lodged your visa application yet you can ask for the form's to send off yourself.

We had our medicals last week and the doctor gave them to us because we don't yet have a case number, etc... Our doctor said that we would need to send the X-ray's off with the forms, however, I have just emailed my agent asking for confirmation of this so once I hear back from him hopefully tomorrow I'll update this thread if nobody beats me to it.

You don't need to send the film in, just the form, as the form is the written answer (if you like) of what the xray film shows. I know some people who've sent the films off, but there's no reason why you should (I doubt your CO is qualified to read it )

If you're frontloading meds are often done before a case number has been attributed, also some people follow austimeline.com and go off that. My meds were sent in without a case file number, no probs.

Thanks for that. My examining doctor returned the xrays to me because he was referring me to a specailist for a report. But because I'm leaving the UK I don't have time to do this specialist report or to ask him to send the xrays off for me. But thats great if you dont need to send in the xray films.

One other question how long does it take for the examining doctor to get the blood test results back and send off the results?

They should be back within seven days.

If you've been referred to a specialist for a report, its pressumably for a reason... will you not have to do it at some point in the future anyway??

Yes, point is though I don't have time to see the specialist in UK as I fly tomorrow. Therefore CO said send in the meds and we will deicde if a specialist report is necessary.

I think the examining doc was covering his position with the ASPC to make sure he did what he thought what was rqd.

Cheers

Where do i start ...
if you look back through my posts you will see that i got refered to a specialist after my x-ray, please tell me you will make sure you do it even if DIMIA say everything is ok.
even though i had loads of stress im glad i did as i now know what was found and exactly what it is ...
i saw people in the hospital that did not look well
