Xmas New Year Salsa party
Hi Guys,
Those of you that know me will know that my hubby and 8 year old went out to Perth last week and baby and I are flying out in the morning.
Really wanted to ask people what they were doing for Christmas and New Year. Last year we spent Christamas day at Palm Beach Rockingham and 5 days over new year at the Observation Rendevous in Scarborough. Last New Year I think I read somewhere that there was a New Year Salsa party going on in Mandurah on the foreshore, I quite fancied that so was wondering if anyone knew of anything similar happening in Mandurah/ Rockingham this year ie Salsa music, fireworks, food etc
One other thing, has anybody been to the outdoor cinema at Kings Park or elsewhere? what was it like, do you sit outside or in cars like in the States?
Thanks in advance for you help guys

Hi!
I've seen the outdoor cinema in King's Park when it was empty.
It's in the Western Power playground part, and it's just a fenced in bit of grass(a big bit and a very big screen) I think you either take your own chairs, or sit on the grass.
Good luck with Mandurah,
Simone

Hi ACE.....
Re: outdoor cinemas. There's one in Burswood Park as well. Just along from the casino.
That's the one we normally go to cos it's closer to us.
Here's the site: http://www.moviesbyburswood.com/
A word of warning though! Remember to take your mozzie spray if you go.
The buggers think they've died & gone to heaven when they see an entire menu of people watching a big bright screen...!!!
Cheers... John....
