x ray advice

Default x ray advice

hi guys
can anyone help me on this one.had my x ray done today and the guy said it shows your lungs clear but it shows you have (enlarged glands )which will be sarcoidosis he says it is very common.he says i will need a full chest examination(more money and stress).just wondering if any one can shed some light on this got full medical on friday

It might be useful to contact your GP prior to your medical. I think that if you run searches about this you may not get all the relevant information about your case. See you GP so they can explain things more clearly.

seen my GP tonight and he says they pick up the condition all thetime and hes not bothered about it ,just wondering if anyone got turned down because of it

Haven't heard of anyone but if you run a search on the forums you might pick up on one. Sorry can't be more useful.

cheers stitch things are getting a bit streeseed today doc says im flapping about nothing,but will need further test

I agree in one sense with your Doc but it's not them that's waiting to hear if your medically fit to up root your whole life and move to the otherside of the world!!!!! So I fully understand what you mean about stressing. Hubby's BP wouldn't settle when we went for Meds (White coat syndrome luckily) and we were getting a tad worried.

Hope all's well and will keep fingers crossed.

They will want to just confirm it is what he thinks it is and although I do not know absolutely, I doubt it would stop you obtaining a visa as the treatment is not expensive if you needed to have treatment anyway as most cases clear up without treatment.
