I can remember Little Johnny saying I will not bring in GST , You have to be naive if you think that Britain will not join the Euro ,the money markets have more insight than you , needs must its going to happen.
The decision to delay Britain's entry into the single European currency will be met with dismay by many UK businesses.
Manufacturers, in particular, will be cursing Chancellor Gordon Brown and his famous five economic tests.
They have complained long and hard about the strength of the pound - and the vagaries of the exchange rate - ruining their competitiveness abroad.
