Hi,

I will be spending 6 weeks in Australia later on this year over December. I would love some advice from any Sydneysiders about a good place to base ourselves. I will be travelling with my husband and our 4 year old. We are planning to spend about 3 weeks in Sydney seeing as much as we can. I have looked at Manly as a place to stay and as we will be spending lots of time sightseeing we will be using buses, ferries etc a lot. Does anyone have any advice on a good place to base ourselves to make it easier to get around?
