Took my telly and it never worked!! got a picture but no sound. Don't know why. Anyway never really used it much as we get out and do so much more outdoory things.

Take a look at http://www.movingdownunder.co.uk/files/faq.php second question down, this will give you information.
Plenty of places in Perth (so I guess all over) will tweak TV to work.
If its an expensive one bring it. !!!

We brought out ours didn't work but the guy at the tv repairers said to run it though an Australian video brought one for $170 "same cost if we'd had it tuned in" works fine in the family room. DVD players here are much cheaper here hubby brought one in the UK a bargain at £80 got here picked one up for $100 works as well if not better ! Our LG widescreen cost $700
Our friends brought out their's and it worked fine after retuning it themselves but our's was several years older.
