Worth taking the car???
Hi all
Has anyone looked into the costs of taking the car with you?
I believe there is customs duty to pay and some sort of sales tax to pay at the other end.
Anyone with any info?
Thanks in advance!

do a search there have been a few on this topic.
I think unless it holds sentimental value there are no benefits in taking cars or motorbikes.

Considered it, rejected it.....
But then an old Mondeo is probably better off left behind.
For a little light bedtime reading may I recommend:

And if you're still keen:

I think the bottom line is that unless the vehicle is particularly valuable then it's probably not worth it.
Cheers
