On BBC1 tonight tthere was a prog on called bodysnatchers and it was about the wide and varied parasites that can invade and inhabit the human body.
To say it was graphic would be an understatement!!!!
Its on again next week too, must remember not to eat at least 12 hours before hand or I will be sick....again....

Not really sure what your all going on about here but I'll tell you what I've been told about WORMS!
When we arrived the mad auntie told us we had to 'worm ourselves' every 6 months and that the worm eggs are airbourne (as it said on that thread) I'am sorry but I still don't believe it. Why would the eggs be airbourne here but not in the Uk?
When I asked other Aussies they said they take worming tablets even if they have no symptoms? I think that it's something like thats been passed up through the generations and they all believe they have to worm themselves on a regular basis. A bit like an urban myth?
When I was here 15 years ago there were adverts on tv for worming tablets !!!!
No body does that in the UK (unless you have them of course) so why here!!??? Or am I the only one who doesn't worm themselves!:scared:
