Question Working opportunities

Hi all, I am wondering about the working opportunities in Carins in sep - nov. Is it difficult to find a simpel job on a restaurant or in the tourist branch?

Is it smarter to travel down the cost to some smaller towns to search for work?

Thanks!!

Default Not really knowing

I'd say Cairns and the Whitsunday Islands have large hospitality industries in constant demand for staff. But you will be up against other backpackers for those kinda jobs. Sydney must be the biggest casual labour market in Oz.

Like a lot of things it's about being in the right place at the right time. But when a lot of other folk want to be in the right place .... the competion stiffens.
