It may have been done before, but what industry is the majority of work in for Brisbane (like Melbourne is Technology)?

I work in IT and the wife is in Advertising Sales - what is the best state for Sales jobs, I know IT would be Sydney or Melbourne, but we do like Queensland?

"I work in IT" covers a huge range of possibilities - a bit like saying "I am an engineer" without specifying which discipline or how much experience. The major compnies are mainly headquartered in Sydney and Melbourne, but there are plenty of opportunities in Brisbane.
