I have 2 fabulous wooden carvings from Gambia - It would break my heart to have to get rid of these - will I get them through customs or do I need to do something special.?

Seeing these are from Africa, AQIS not Customs, need to be informed. Have they been treated, if not they may treat them for a cost to you.

Re: Wooden kitchen utensils
My sister posted me a wooden carving from Bali. She bought it from a shop there and sent it to me for my birthday. When I received it the packaging had been opened, presumably by customs. So I guess that some wooden stuff must be ok.
